The first deployment of ŠKODA Fabia R5 resulted in clear victory of Jan Kopecký/Pavel Dresler factory crew in Rallye Šumava Klatovy 2015. The pair won 11 out of 12 special stages and finished with a comfortable lead of 1.5 minute. In the difficult conditions of two-day competition, the new ŠKODA Fabia R5 proved both its speed and its reliability. “The car worked with no mechanical issues, which is very important finding own the first deployment. It shows the great work of our team. It is still a fresh car and we are testing and getting to know it. We could not imagine a better start of the Czech championship”, concluded visibly happy Jan Kopecký after finishing the grueling race.
