Thüringen Rallye, the sixth round of the German Rally Championship (DRM) 2016, took place in Pößneck in eastern Germany last weekend. And it proved to be a great weekend for the ŠKODA AUTO Deutschland pairing of Fabian Kreim / Frank Christian, whose victory was their third in a row in the championship and saw them cement their place at the top of the German championship standings.

They won eight of the ten stages to claim overall victory by a margin of almost 40 seconds in what was a dominant display for the ŠKODA Fabia R5.

An honourable mention too for Mattias Kahle who took the classic ŠKODA 130 RS around several of the Thüringen Rallye stages. He wasn’t competing but running a VIP taxi, with some special guests of ŠKODA AUTO Deutschland having the chance to be his co-driver.
