Škoda Motorsport is launching a new bonus program for its customer teams participating in the FIA European Rally Championship with Fabia RS Rally2, Fabia Rally2 evo or Fabia Rally2. At each event, teams entering the programme can win parts vouchers worth a total of €28,000 and a discount to purchase a new car for next season is also up for grabs. At the same time, Škoda Motorsport wants to support all teams competing in selected WRC and ERC events by offering them the opportunity to purchase spare parts directly in the service area.

Teams can register for the Bonus Program by sending an application form to the designated email address (motorsport@skoda-auto.cz). The application deadline is extended to 31.03.2024. The team that enters a crew (or crews) must be based in the EU or the European Economic Area, must be a registered customer of Škoda Motorsport and must display the Škoda logo on the prescribed areas of the car (bonnet and rear wing) in the competitions they will participate in. These are the rules. The complete rules can be found here.

Registered teams can then compete for spare parts vouchers worth a total of €28,000 at each ERC event. The team whose driver finishes the event in first place driving a Škoda car will receive a €15,000 parts voucher. Second place will be rewarded with an €8,000 voucher and third place will be worth €5,000 (all voucher values as stated are exclusive of value added tax). The vouchers can then be redeemed against any parts order from Škoda Motorsport.

"We encourage loyal customers and motivate teams to put our cars on the road. At the same time, we are strengthening Škoda's position in the ERC," says Michal Hrabánek, Head of Škoda Motorsport, about the program. Throughout the season, teams can compete in the ERC for the grand prize of a €50,000 discount to purchase a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 car. The team whose crew wins the ERC championship with a Škoda car in the 2024 season will be able to claim this discount for a new car for the 2025 season. "This prize recognises the performance of our most successful customer team in the ERC and can provide significant help with funding for the 2025 season," explains Lucie Bortová, Head of Customer Program at Škoda Motorsport.

Škoda Motorsport will now also provide support in the form of spare parts sales to all teams participating in the ERC and WRC championships with Škoda cars at selected events. The sports department of the Mladá Boleslav-based carmaker will, again, send its own truck with spare parts to selected events. The truck will be present in the service zones, where teams can directly purchase the necessary parts without having to stock them themselves. This allows teams to avoid, for example, withdrawing from the competition due to a lack of parts.

"The idea of a truck full of spare parts parked and accessible right in the service area of selected rallies is a great support for our customer teams," says Radek Těšínský, who is responsible for the logistics of this support program. Thanks to this service, Škoda Motorsport customers gain another important advantage and the department demonstrates its approach of always putting customer needs first. "The goal is always the same. To ensure that as many of our cars as possible finish the competition," concludes Lucie Bortová.
