This weekend, the European Rally Championships continues after a month long hiatus. It’s the third round of the championship, and the teams are in Greece and tackling the Rally Acropolis, which takes place in and around the Greek town of Lamia, some 150 km north-west of Athens. This gravel rally consists of 12 special stages and more than 230 km of competitive rallying, and this year, there are no fewer than five teams competing in ŠKODA Fabia R5s.

Lambros Athanassoulas/Elias Panagiotounis are driving in their home event for Laskaris Foundation Team Greece and having finished third in a Fabia R5 here last year, they will be looking to improve on that result this time round. Jaromír Tarabus and co-driver Daniel Trunkát are driving for the T&T Czech National Team, and they finished fourth last year in a ŠKODA Fabia S2000.

Others on the start-line will be the Estonian pairing of Raul Jeets/Andrus Toom and the Latvian team of Ralfs Sirmacis/Arturs Šimins, both with the cars of the Sport Racing Technologies team, and Antonín Tlusťák/Ladislav Kučera in the colours of Tlusťák Racing.

And we will be following all five teams during the rally right here with our exclusive gallery showing all the best pictures throughout the event.
