Škoda Motorsport celebrates 125 years of success. Fabia RS Rally2 to receive additional equipment

For 125 years, vehicles from the Mladá Boleslav-based manufacturer have been collecting laurels in motorsport competitions around the world. Throughout the year, Škoda Motorsport will mark this anniversary in a variety of ways, one of them being a gesture of appreciation towards its customers in the form of additional equipment for all Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 cars delivered in 2026.

The foundations of today’s Škoda Motorsport were laid back in 1901 by the Paris–Berlin race. This motorcycle event, in which factory rider Narcis Podsedníček competed on a Laurin & Klement motorcycle, marked the brand’s debut in motorsport. Since then, the Mladá Boleslav-based manufacturer has remained actively involved in motorsport and continues to celebrate success to this day.

The tradition lives on primarily in rallying, where Škoda cars have achieved numerous victories in recent years, particularly in the WRC2 category of the FIA World Rally Championship, the FIA European Rally Championship, and many other regional and national rally series. To celebrate this 125-year-long heritage, every Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 delivered to customers in full specification during the anniversary year will receive additional equipment.

Delivered cars will thus receive a package of additional features, such as OZ rims in addition, a rear polycarbonate window, lightweight engine wiring and more (see box). These elements enhance the car’s competitiveness, for example through reduced weight or increased durability. The package will also include visual references to the significant anniversary.

The package will be complemented by “125 Years” light livery, a new Unique Dark Chrome logo on the bonnet, an interior plaque, and a cloth car cover bearing the “125 Years Škoda Motorsport” logo. Every customer purchasing a new Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 during the anniversary year will also receive a selection of Škoda Motorsport merchandise, with something included even for the youngest racing enthusiasts.
