As usual, the Sardinian rally did not give anyone anything for free and finishing the event became a real challenge for all crews. Unfortunately, Andreas Mikkelsen and his co-driver Ola Fløen experienced the treacherousness of the gravel tracks first-hand and had to withdraw from the event due to damage to the rollcage. Their teammates Marco Bulacia and Marcelo Der Ohannesian were a little more fortunate in a similar situation and eventually finished third in the WRC2 category. In the WRC3 category, luck was not in favour of the favoured crews this time either, and, unfortunately, Kajetan Kajetanowicz did not complete his hat-trick. However, the second place in this category went to the crew of Pepe López/Diego Vallejo with ŠKODA FABIA Rally2 evo, who gave a consistent performance throughout the competition.
