The 2017 FIA European Rally Championship (ERC) is back just two weeks after the Acropolis Rally in Greece with round 4, the Cyprus Rally (16th to 18th June), a 14 stage, 220 kilometers long mixed surface event.

And as ever there is plenty of ŠKODA interest, with five FABIA R5 cars entered. Current ERC championship leader Bruno Magalhães and his co-driver Hugo Magalhães return with one victory and two other podium places under their belts already this season.

The Russian duo of Nikolay Gryazin / Yaroslav Fedorov missed out on points in Greece after their car caught fire between stages. They are back for the Cyrus Rally in a new car in the Sports Racing Technologies team colours.

The Czech duo of Antonín Tlusťák / Ivo Vybíral are driving for the Botka - Tlustak Racing team, while German Albert von Thurm und Taxis and his Belgian co-driver Bjorn Degandt are rallying with the car prepared and run by the Wevers Sport team. Meanwhile, the Cypriots Charalambos Timotheou / Antonis Chrysostomou are also taking part in a FABIA R5 run by the Motorsport Italia team. It is their first ever start in a FABIA R5.

Needless to say, ŠKODA Motorsport wishes all the FABIA R5 drivers well and you can follow their progress throughout the weekend right here with our exclusive picture gallery.
