The Rajd Rzeszowski (3rd to 5th August) in Poland is the fifth round of the 2017 FIA European Rally Championship (ERC). It is an 11 stage, 214 kilometers long asphalt event and sees no shortage of ŠKODA FABIA R5s challenging for a place on the podium.

Portuguese driver Bruno Magalhães and his co-driver Hugo Magalhães are looking to extend their lead at the top of the ERC standings. Another championship leader, Marijan Griebel, who currently tops the ERC Junior U28 standings, is also taking part alongside co-driver Stefan Kopczyk.

The Rufa Sport pairing of Grzegorz Grzyb / Bogusław Browiński are competing on home soil, while Nikolay Gryazin / Yaroslav Fedorov (Sports Racing Technologies ), Sylvain Michel / Jérôme Degout (2C Compétition), Albert von Thurn und Taxis / Bjorn Degandt (Wevers Sport), who finished fourth in the ERC standings in Cyprus last time out, are also taking part.

They are joined by the ACCR Czech Team pairing of Jan Černý / Petr Černohorský, Motorsport Italia’s Max Rendina / Emanuele Inglesi, Botka - Tlustak Racing’s Dávid Botka / Márk Mesterházi and Auto Partner Rally Team’s Lithuanian duo Dominykas Butvilas / Renatas Vaitkevičius.

Two Polish pairings - Filip Nivette / Kamil Heller and Marcin Gagacki / Marcin Bilski - are competing primarily for points for the Polish Rally Championship.
