The penultimate round of the FIA Asia-Pacific Rally Championship (APRC) sees teams visiting Hokkaido, the northernmost province of Japan. Taking place in and around the city of Obihiro, this round will see some of the most fanatical supporters of the year travelling from right across Japan to line the course.

The event takes place on fast, narrow forest roads which have a soft base meaning they can erode quickly and leave huge ruts for drivers to traverse on the second run. Changeable weather adds to the challenge at the rally where the championship title can often be decided.
