The Škoda family of sporty RS models is expanding with the addition of the all-electric Enyaq RS and Enyaq Coupé RS. With a system output of 250 kW and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds, they rank among the fastest models ever produced by the Mladá Boleslav-based carmaker. And yet, they also offer impressive everyday practicality.
Škoda is presenting the new Enyaq RS and Enyaq Coupé RS in a sporting environment: at this year's IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in Sweden and Denmark. The high-performance electric cars are both a highly expected extension of the new Enyaq lineup and a welcome addition to Škoda's sport-tuned electric vehicle range.
The Enyaq RS and Enyaq Coupé RS follow in the footsteps of the previously introduced, more compact Elroq RS, offering a more spacious and premium alternative. Without exaggeration, these represent the pinnacle of Škoda’s lineup.
Impressive dynamics
Both top-tier electric vehicles offer truly impressive performance. Thanks to electric motors on both axles, they feature all-wheel drive. The system output reaches 250 kW – the highest ever for Škoda production models. As a result, both models can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds, making them, alongside the Elroq RS, the fastest accelerating Škoda production vehicles.
The performance boost comes with other sporty upgrades. Notably, new front brakes feature dual-piston callipers. The Enyaq RS and Enyaq Coupé RS also gain progressive steering and a drive mode selector with a profile designed for maximum traction. A sports chassis comes as standard, while the RS-specific adaptive DCC sports chassis is optionally available (depending on the market).
This makes the Enyaq RS and Enyaq Coupé RS both agile and precise, while still delivering outstanding ride comfort. The DCC system allows drivers to adjust damper stiffness across 15 different levels.
Charging performance is equally strong, thanks to the 84-kWh battery (79 kWh usable). With a maximum charging rate of 185 kW, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80% in just 26 minutes. The driving range is up to 562 kilometres for the SUV and up to 568 kilometres for the Coupé. This is also thanks to the excellent aerodynamics, among the best in the RS lineup. The SUV has a drag coefficient of 0.251, while the Coupé reaches an outstanding 0.239.

Sporty look
The performance of the Enyaq RS and Enyaq Coupé RS is matched by their appearance. Both vehicles adopt the brand’s new Modern Solid design language. The RS models feature a glossy Tech-Deck Face grille with an illuminated strip, complemented by traditional black RS design elements, such as window trim, mirror covers, and front bumper winglets. The redesigned front bumper adds a more aggressive look. Black Škoda badges and RS plaques complete the visual package.
The Enyaq RS and Enyaq Coupé RS also get sports wheels with aerodynamic covers, 20-inch as standard, 21-inch as an option. Both new models can be ordered in a wide range of popular shades, with the striking Green Mamba colour reserved exclusively for the RS versions.
The sporty feel continues inside the cabin, which comes in two available interior designs. The RS Lounge features a dynamic combination of Suedia microfiber and faux leather upholstery, accented with lime green stitching and piping. Alternatively, the RS Suite trim offers leather and faux leather with grey stitching and piping. A three-spoke sports steering wheel with matching RS stitching and RS logos – also embroidered on the integrated headrests of the sports seats – completes the look.

Practical as Ever
The seats are just one example of the practicality and generous equipment in the Enyaq RS and Enyaq Coupé RS. The driver’s seat even comes standard with a massage function. The comprehensive equipment list includes three-zone climate control, advanced Matrix-LED headlights, keyless entry with automatic locking/unlocking (KESSY), and the latest Travel Assist 2.6 package. This system uses live data from other VW Group vehicles to enhance the functions of the driver assistance systems. The integrated navigation system also provides real-time warnings of accidents and other hazards.
Naturally, the Enyaq RS and Enyaq Coupé RS include many traditional Simply Clever features. Rear side windows come with sunshades, USB-C charging ports at the front and rear provide up to 45 W of power, and a virtual pedal for hands-free boot access is standard. The luggage compartment is impressively spacious – 585 litres in the SUV version and 570 litres in the Coupé. Inside the boot, a QR code links to a video that demonstrates all the smart storage solutions on offer.
